    Price display issue in V10

    Hi

I am new to the forum but would appreciate any help on a formatting problem.

I have set-up a secondary price to show the RRP and the price we are charging on our site but cannot get the RRP price to display in the same format as the actual price. I have attached a screen shot to make it simpler to understand.

    Any help would be appreciated.

just to clarify, by 'format' do you mean the comma separator and .00?

Thanks for your reply, yes that is what I mean, the comma and the .00.

Have your variable as 'text' type and add the details yourself? i.e. if 299.99 then put 299.99 in the field. You could also use the costprice field which is available through the design nowadays.

Hi Lee, thanks for your reply.

I have a formula attached to the variable, which is defined as a number, so I cant change it to a text format. Basically I would like to display the "Old Price" in the same format as my "Now" price.

Presume you're using php then and have not formatted the number as currency. Best way to find how is to search the forum for 'RRP', lots of solutions and thus ways to format the result have been discussed, just use one of those, gotta be fixed decimal or currency formatting to display as a currency.
