Good morning,
We uploaded our new site and all was working well, until we added Google Checkout as a module. As we do not have SSL on checkout we have since removed this by Business settings>Payment and security: Deleting the module and unticking the 'Use SSL' box. Full refresh of website.
We then encountered on all CGI Bin scripts in checkout and login a '500 Internal Server Error'
After searching the forums, I have checked the CGI permissions and are correct at 755 also I compacted both databases House keeping>compact databases. 500 Internal server error is now intermittent
. Fasthosts have looked into this and 24hrs later have come back with:-
'I'm afraid that the issue has something to do with your script because we uploaded a test file for Perl and this appear to be working fine.'
I am sure they have done something, because I have done another full refresh and the site seems to be working fine. But I did select Web>Network setup: TICKED 'Passive FTP transfers' and TICKED 'use relative CGI-bin URLSs'
The only issue we can seem to find is the CGI Scripts seem to be REFERING from previous page?
http://www.smartpackagingstore.co.uk...00_metres.html
Is there a way to fix this as I have trawled the forum and Fasthost say its a script error and not the server.
Also the page does not show up, It has not been changed, or hidden:-

Hope the above narrative will help others and hopefully fix ours.
