Just a quick one in case I'm missing a trick. Am getting a few people trying to buy items but their card payment is coming back from Netbanx as declined, their order goes in to Payments Pending Service Provider in Actinic, but it decrements the stock, they try repeatedly and get the same error, another one or two go into pending and I am then showing out of stock on the web site.
I can't set the payment pending clearance period in Business Settings to anything less than 5 days, so for whatever reason, whether its a customer who has overspent their card, typed in the wrong CVC number or is maybe even a competitor trying to prevent me from selling an item or a possible customer fraud attempt, my stock levels are depleted for 5 days and I have to manually check payments pending every day to delete some orders and refloat the stock level to at least one.
Is this what is supposed to happen, and is there any way to shorten that auto-delete pending period? Obviously need to keep one back for a customer for say 24 hours who is having genuine problems with the system but not sure why I can't go lower than 5 days.
