Out of stock?...

Hi all,

this has happened a few times now so i've decided to post.

i know an item is out of stock and it is marked up as out of stock.., a few days later, i get an order for that out of stock item, when i check, it has for some reason gone back into stock and i have to obviously refund the customer and look very foolish.
has anybody had this problem?

Probably have stock allocated to pending PSP orders (set in business settings), which expire and thus restock.

i had it set to pending PSP orders.., it doesn't say anything about restocking..

had to make loads of refunds

When a pending PSP order expires, it has to put the stock somewhere otherwise it would just vanish effectively.

Hopefully not.

Did you mean cancellations ? If the orders are in PSP pending then no payment will have been taken so presumably no refund required.

i think i better check that later on as this has been going on for a while.., plus all this Paypal IPN thing with orders going into pending e.t.c
