cookies problem

Hi, one of our customers let us know that we seem to have a problem with cookies. It keeps saying that the viewers browser does not accept cookies even when the privacy setings are on low. I have tried it on a couple of diferent computers using both IE8 and IE9 Beta and keep getting errors every time i add to basket for any items as well.
Any one have any ideas what could be causing this? It might explain why we have not had an internet order for over a month on any of our sites!

Getting same thing in Safari too.

Tried reloading with no joy, calling tech support (actinic cover) to see if they can shed some light.

I think this is linked to customer accounts, do you have them, if not, my guess can get its coat.

PS - it's also ballsed up for me too.

Tech have identified the problem.
the time on our server is set incorrectly, it is a few hours behind real time, this ment that the cookies were timing out as soon as they were sent. We have changed the expiry period to 24 hours and it has fixed the problem.

HI Lee, i did a second refresh, don't know what went wrong with the first?

First of all you'd never provide a link to a folder without a trailing slash, you're effectively creating 2 requests to the server each time it is clicked. As to why it was not there, presume it got confused on the refresh and deleted it, not really sure tbh.
