Right sidebar missing - my fault I think

When I first started using Actinic 10, I wanted to get my site on line asap and I think I did some things the (very) wrong way in my ignorance. One of the things I did was 'remove' the right sidebar.

Now of course I'm thinking of putting it back, to put some marketing spiel in - but back it will not come. I have a horrible feeling this is because I deleted some code in the outer layout somewhere - although it may be something else (like I made an inner layout too wide for the right sidebar to fit perhaps). I remember messing with the page width to get my masthead to fit and my enlarged basket and checkout buttons right.

Now because I did all these dirty tweaks to get my look done in the first place I don't want to do a change of theme or outer layout because then everything will go haywire (I tried it; it did) but I don't know how to move forward.

    F'rinstance: in Site Options> Design Wizard -
the style says "Shrinks and grows automatically" - it doesn't.
    I changed the design width from 920 to 1050 - it didn't.
I changed the Sidebars to "Two Sidebars" - it didn't.

My starting point was 'Silver Theme' and the outer layout is "Outer Layout For Silver Theme". I know I shouldn't have changed things the way I did at the start but I was replacing a site built in another product and I wanted to get a similar look up very quickly. What shall I do now?

There's no right sidebar on the silver theme by default. You can add it as I have done previously for a couple of clients such as this www.avrmobiles.co.uk . Thereare some css, html and graphic mods involved though to size everything up.

Ah. OK well that's kind of comforting to know insofar as I don't have to feel guilty about doing something dreadful and removing it.

I must have switched to the silver theme at some point during the early tweaking period and I've forgotten this removed the sidebar.

Thanks for letting me know. Your comments don't make it sound like I'm going to be able to add that sidebar on my own, though.
