js file being overwritten - am i going mad?

As part of the capitalisation address fields fix, I have amended the actinicextras.js file that sits in \My Documents\Actinic v10\Sites\Site1 folder. However, the file appears to get overwritten with the original file on a regular basis!
To me, this makes no sense but im hoping someone out there can explain what might be happening.

Whenever i have implemented that fix, i've done it direct to the fields in the checkout, never needed to touch any actinic JS files, not sure why you're experiencing what you are, can only presume, either you're adjusting the wrong file or upgrades are overwriting your changes perhaps.

File actinicextras.js is one of the files that will be replaced whenever you upgrade Actinic to a new point release.

Much easier, as Lee says, to stick the little bit of JavaScript into the relevant Checkout pages only.
