Affiliate Scheme / Referrer - need help

Hi All,

I really would appreciate some help on this as Actinic say they dont support referrer / affilate scheme.... yet they have all the reporting in the sales reports !

We are a small online company and sell baseball /softball gloves,bats, balls etc and we are looking at offering a small incentive (maybe 5%) for teams, clubs, leagues to put our link on their site and we want to offer this incentive to the clubs when people click through from their website.

We dont need any special software but to be able to go to the sales report (transactions by referrer and then I can see sales from these other websites). Is their a code we need to put on our site or a code they need to put on their site so we can track ??

Did you try searching for "affiliate"? Lots of posts from people using various affiliate schemes it seems.

Yes I have done a few searches and it seems a very time consuming and expensive operation.

It is frustrating beacuse we pay our Actinic cover fees and they say we have to ask the community for help. So here I am !

We are looking at a simple solution as as Actinic already has the reporting features we require. I was hoping there was some way of implementing it in Actinic? I will be happy able to work out the commission leveles manually from the reports.

The report in actinic allows you to see transactions by referrer so my plan was to do a monthly report and see which referers and then to give them the commission that way. I dont know if this will work for us but its like a trial to see if we get more business by telling all the clubs and teams to put our logo on their website.

I am not expert on computing but is there a code that the websites can put in their website so that it come up in the actinic report ?

I just need to know what codes we have to input and where we put them in our and our potential new customers websites.

I hope I am making sense and would appreciate any help where possible.
