Site from Business to Catalog to Business?

Hi,
Complete newbi at this but learning fast.
I was asked to modify a (non working) site to get it ready to publish. After three days work I have found out that through ignorance and misunderstanding I have edited the site using the Catalog product and not the Business version with which the site had been created.
Can I just open the site in the business version and carry on editing or have I broken the site and have to start again from backups and lose three days work?

Should be fine in my experience, i regularly switch between the two.
