Background Image Note Appearing?

I would like to have a site background.

In order to do this I went to:

Settings; Site Options; General; Appearance Settings;

I then selected the appropriate image as a background.

For some reason this image does not appear?

Anyone have any explanation as to why this might not be working?

I am using silver theme in v10.

Two things, you have to set the true false option on bg color in the same place and for ease make sure you have the image directly in the site1 folder as there's a long standing bug in this area still not fixed.

i have done both of these things but still not working! i had this working in v8 but since upgrade it won't work.strange.

The css for your body, html will be screwed then I guess, check it against the master in the design library (use the compare facility).
