Recently viewed not working for Product Duplicates

I have searched around the forum but cannot find any related post on this particular issue.

Recently viewed items is only working for actual products, not pages with duplicates.

Most of the items in this section are duplicates except the last 3 items which are 'real' products. None of the duplicates are added to recently viewed after selecting the page, whereas their originals work correctly.

I have double checked the image settings and layout options which are all identical - use parent.

I only found this while working on a new V10 site. Looks like a bug to me.

Also if you tick only add single items, there is a problem displaying single product pages which contain any fragments as the list count > 1 (flawed logic?).

I am unable to recreate this issue using a default site in V10 KIIA, i suggest getting in contact with Actinic Support.

If you experience the problem of duplicates not showing in the recently viewed list there is a workaround supplied by support:

1. Open 'Duplicate Field Configuration' from "Settings | Duplicates Field Configuration"

2. Deselect the "File/URL Links" check box and click 'OK'

3. Re-open the 'Duplicate Field Configuration' window and select the 'File/URL Links' check box again.

4. Upload the site and check it.

Works for me
