product loading fault in V10

Hi

I have noticed a repeat fault when Actinic loads up the program.

On several occasions the list of products are loaded with double entries,
Same product listed twice,

Also found an error in that some products are listed in the preview window yet the same product is not listed in the products list on the left?

Any suggestions to curing this as the problem transfers itself to the site when uploaded.

there is no way to remove falsely copied products apart from closing and re-opening actinic.

Might be an idea to compact the database and see if that sorts it

Is it that the databases can't cope with large numbers of products??

It's more a spring clean, blowing off cobwebs, lots of stuff runs in the background that you do not know about, it can occasionally get confused or just simply over loaded with info. You should compact the database every time you close it down, look at the auto options on screen when you close it down next time.

Actinic use Access databases which require compacting regularly to function efficiently.

Not sure mate lol, i guess the seconds count too on the time stamp. Either that or you have sausage fingers and type like a monkey .

Well although I compact the database the problem persists and is becoming a frequent event. ie almost EVERY time I load the site up.

Is the bug corrected by any patches???

Is it a new v10 site or one upgraded from an earlier version?
Sounds like a corrupt database rather than a bug (if it was a bug, others would have encountered it more regularly, I'd have thought)
Think you'll need to get your database to actinic to see if they can analyse/repair it
