Hi Guys - I have just moved from version 9 to 10 and had a design done for me in version 9 - I am looking to move over to the silver theme but every time I change the theme I am still getting the old traits of my old design and ideas how I can get a fresh new theme ??? any help much appreciated - p.s. I have changed the theme and the outer layouts in advanced themes my old site still shows at www.cosmetics4uonline.co.uk cheers - Steve

Try this. Reinstall Actinic again to get everything back to default and make a snapshot. Import your v9 snapshot and let it upgrade then export your catalog. Now restore back to the snapshot which will give you the default store again, set it to the Silver Theme and import your catalog.
You'll still probably have some fiddling to do but it might help minimise the effort. -
When you say you've had a design done for you, if you have, why are you looking to change theme, if you do so, you will move the site off the design you have had done for you?Comment

Hi Lee - We have had that design for a while now and it very restrictive to what you can change so was going to change to the silver theme so I can add changes myself - doug can you give a step by step breakdown e.g snapshots version 9 etc - cheersComment
