Text alignment site wide in product descriptions

Hello Folks . . . . .

we've had some work done to the layout on our site and prior to this the text in the main product description was left aligned and we were happy with that. Post changes, it appears to have all changed to centered, can't seem to find how to change it back and someone on support said he thought it would mean a change to the coding in the css? well that's me lost . . .

Is there not some default setting I can take this back to for left alignment as to the best of my knowledge the chap that's done the changes hasn't made any changes to the way the text aligns.

He won't have changed it directly, but you'll find that he has probably added a <div align="center"> around something and the cell is then inheriting that setting, a common problem when you style that way. Send it back to him if you can, should be an easy fix for a designer. In the absence of a URL, only mystic meg will be able to help without seeing it.
