Changing margin pictures on home page

Hello

Currently on my home page my new products appear in the margins on the left and the best sellers in the margin on the right.
I would like to be able to put different information in these margins, particularly on the left to be able to include things such as a special offer, a featured product, payment types accepted and newsletter signup.
It would be beneficial to use clickable images here but i really have no idea how to go about making these changes.
I have the following code. If i have images on my computer that i want to use, how do i use this code?

To customise the sidebars you would need to go into the primary layout code. The code should have a local reference to the image, the image should be in the Site1 installation folder.

Thanks for your help, i will try that. I can't actually find the site 1 installation folder. is it contained within another main folder?

You'll normally find the Site1 folder in My Documents\Actinic vX unless you chose another location during the installation.
