    what have I done wrong

I know I am stupid, but just upgaraded from v9.0.5 to v10.3 today on to a server with business plus i.e. multi user

on two XP Pro workstations i have uploaded v10 and they do not seem able to find the server sites folder and when I go to multi user to show them the sites folder they ask where it is but wont go there when told where it is, on another workstation with XP pro all went well and on another with win7 pro

I must be doing something stupid I know but dont know what

Spent 7 hours today upgrading with fairly big sites (2 big, 2 med, 4 small) and after two cock ups doing that when I had not made a sites folder just a actinic v10 folder which everything went into ok but workstations would not read from and a few other silly mistakes

Ahh!!! a nice quite day with the sun out, I will pop into office upgrade all for a couple of hours then down to the beach yea, yea, yea

Don't forget to place a test order on each site - the checkout has changed in v10.

Also check that you can compact the sites from within Actinic.

Not sure what your problem is though. Did you run MU on all these machines when running v905?

    Happy Easter!

      Could it be a firewall issue? V10 uses ports 4373 & 4374.

      (V9 used 4371 & 4372).

        Thanks Duncan and Paul

Thinking about it overnight it must be how i set up the workstations, i will go back and re-install using defaults and then change over to multi-user and see if thats the problem, I know its finger trouble, it's why i left it for a holiday period as every upgrade is always a problem and normally only once every 18 months or so you forget how it went last year

Must say i don't like the way during the upgrade when the timer just runs for ages and gives no indication if its in a loop or working properly, very scary the first time waiting

Will check the firewall, don't think it is this, but worthy of a check

Well back to the office for a couple of hours, need them all up and running for staff on Tuesday as quite a few orders over the break. Oh to be an employee with no worry's

Maybe I will move next door to either Lee or Norman and then get them to pop around and sort out my problems for a bottle of Scotch.
