Just created the .txt file using Mole-End.biz's Googlebase mash (the most up to date beta version)
Despite leaving the items as New and their expiry date as 30 days, Google still rejects all the products with these two messages:
Item Errors - 183 items with errors 183 items affected183
This value must be one of the values stated in the data feed instructions for attribute: condition (183 errors)
Examples:
Item Nr. Line No. Value
7 8 "new"
19 20 "new"
Warnings - 183 items with warnings 183 items affected183
Expiry date is too far in the future (183 warnings)
Please make sure that the value doesn't exceed the default expiration date for your item type.

The products are Home & Garden. Can't find anything in the Help section that would explain why the default settings aren't acceptable.
