    Upgrade to v10.4 problems

    Hi

    Hope you can help.

    I am using Actinic Business Plus V.10 on two computers with two users.

    I upgraded to V10.4 yesterday evening on our main computer that the Actinic Data Base is held on (on shared drive)

    All went well and everything looked ok.

    Until....this morning I updated the Actinic on our second computer that runs off the main computers shared drive.

    When we log in we appear to have a duplicate of our site on the start up ????

    The name protocol is slightly different in that the new site that has appeared uses all lowercase letters for the name as opposed to how I named it with Uppercase letters at the beginning of the words ???

    It appears that when an order is entered onto one it appears on the other ??

    But when two users attempt to edit the same order it allows you, so am I right in thinking it is using two databases ??? - But if that's the case why is an entered order on one database shown on the other ???

    I am confused -

    It isn't a live site yet but does have some orders entered.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Go to My Documents | Actinic V10 | Sites folder and open the 'sites' text file, there you can delete the duplicate entry.

      Hi pfb5

      Thanks for your quick reply.

      Do you mean the Sites.ini file which as you say opens as a text file.

      Which in my case says....

      [Sites]
      all_for_your_garden=
      Site1=
      All_For_Your_Garden=
      Test_Site=

      [Site1]
      Upgrade=Upgrade v10.0.LDZA
      Backup=Backup v10.0.1.0.0.0.KEUB
      UpgradeType=

      [All_For_Your_Garden]
      Upgrade=Upgrade v10.0.LDZA
      Backup=Backup v10.0.1.0.0.0.KEUB
      UpgradeType=

      [Admin]
      Server=
      UseDbAuth=2
      MID1=fba477b2c8a569d1
      MID2=fba477b2c8a569d1
      BackupPath=
      [Test_Site]
      Upgrade=Upgrade v10.0.LDZA
      Backup=Backup v10.0.1.0.0.0.KEUB
      UpgradeType=
      Do I just take out the
      all_for_your_garden
      on line two ??

      Many thanks
