Compacting database everytime exit Actinic

V10.0.0.4 forces compacting database everytime on exiting from Actinic

how to go back to only compacting on request?

Go to Housekeeping / Backup / Shutdown Backup Options. Set the Prompt to be always. Now when you next close Actinic, you'll see the Shutting Down window, where there's an option to turn on/off Compact Database After Closing Actinic.

Can I ask why?

I have only installed 10.0.4 today at the office and have not yet shut down to find this. But if this is the case, we virtually never shut down - our machines run 24/7 and we access them from home. Therefore we ALWAYS compact manually (when we remember) - and you can't do it in BPlus with Users logged on.
