Home page won't update

One of our v10 sites is refusing to update the home page despite having made a change to the menu. All the other pages have updated themselves as you would expect, but the home page refuses to overwrite itself.
Any thoughts on this ?

I've had this happen to me before.
Try adding a fragment to the homepage, upload the site, delete the fragment, then upload again.
I think that's what I did to kick it up the backside.

Make sure you don't have an extraneous index.html in your Site folder.

It's always something simple isn't it ? Turns out the 'use as homepage' checkbox had got 'unchecked' . Thanks for suggestions though.
