500 Internal Server error

Hi

We have a problem, which only recently appeared, where the customer gets a 500 internal server error message when completing their order.

We are able to retrieve all these orders in the usual fashion.

I have tried a website refresh, and incremented the script id number, but the error remains.

On our web server log we get this kind of message
"[Tue May 24 22:04:41 2011] [warn] [client 78.32.148.116] Timeout waiting for output from CGI script /var/www/vhosts/makefast.com/cgi-bin/os000002.pl, referer: http://www.makefast.com/cgi-bin/os000002.pl
[Tue May 24 22:04:41 2011] [error] [client 78.32.148.116] Premature end of script headers: os000002.pl, referer: http://www.makefast.com/cgi-bin/os000002.pl

We are running version 10.0.3 and our hosting is Actinic's own.

Any suggestions about avenues to explore gratefully received.

Try changing the script id and refreshing the server.

Is this happening to all orders, or only to orders with many items in the Cart?

It's happening on all orders - unfortunately I will not be able to try changing the script ids again until this evening
