Add to Cart - General Script error

Another bug has arisen on my site which I am having problems tracking down.

When the Add to Cart button is pressed on this product page:

I get a General Script Error.

I have tried the following:

1) Creating a new product/section in the same section from scratch - no change

2) Copying a duplicate product into the same product section. I can add the new product to the cart but still not the problematic product

Can anybody help me please?

Ty using a simpler Product Reference. Yours is LAP-C(16032) and the brackets may be the problem.

Yes, this is the problem. I have replaced the brackets with dashes and all is now well

Unfortunately the product reference is the one used by my supplier and is often searched for on the Internet. I have used it in the page title instead.

Actinic recently hardened the Perl scripts to prevent hack attacks and a consequence of this is that some characters that were allowable in the past are now causing problems.

Annoying that they don't warn customers of this when the products are being checked prior to upload.
