    Hi Guys and Girls

    As you might beaware or not aware Google lunched thier +1 button late yesterday!

    I have been "playing" with my Actinic design today by adding the +1 Coding.

    I have now got this working by add the code without any problems

    Anybody else been playing today with the +1 code?

    link to google code http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/#utm_source=webmasters&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=waitlist

    Google code below
    -----------------------------------

    <!-- Place this tag in your head or just before your close body tag -->
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js">
    {lang: 'en-GB'}
    </script>

    <!-- Place this tag where you want the +1 button to render -->
    <glusone></glusone>

    ------------------------------------------

    Hopefully Googles code will not break my site!?

      For some reason the code is not showing up in this forum correctly as it keeps adding smily face etc!?

      code should be as follows.

      <!-- Place this tag where you want the +1 button to render -->
      <g-lusone></g-lusone>

      take out the - in p-lusone before you paste into your site.

      Also have you entered this code into you site outer layout you are using?

      <!-- Place this tag in your head or just before your close body tag -->
      <script type="text/javascript" src="http://apis.google.com/js/p-lusone.js"></script>

      Also take out the - in plusone.js before adding to your site.

      Take a look at the attachment if you are unsure!

          If you can send me a snapshot of your site or a copy of layouts I will take a look for you if you like?

              Hi

              I've managed to get this working, although it doesn't show in the design when I uploaded the website it appears. Can anybody tell me how to get the +1 button to appear below the tweet button? All I need to do now is get the facebook like button to work, doesn't matter what code I use I get an error!

                try putting <br/> just before the start of the google code.

                  Sorry for the delay,

                  All is working fine, I could not get it to work with <script type="text/javascript" src="http://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js"></script> in the <head> section but works fine placed just above </body>.

                    Well it broke mine!

                    Put the code provided by Google and it worked ok. What I mean is it displayed the button ok.

                    But when I checked my site in Firefox the pages did not load. The url bar at the bottom of the page said "Read ssl.gstatic.com". It was by doing a search on this forum that I was able to link the two things together by reading this thread.

                    Removed the two parts of the code today and now the site loads ok.

                    Apparantly ssl.gstatic.com is something to do with Google
                    Regards,

                    Keith

                      Hi,

                      Have been trying to get +1 going for awhile and keep pulling my hair out and leaving it.
                      Decided I would get up early today and see if I could knock this on the head once and for all but still getting stuck. When I paste in the code <glusone></glusone> where I would like the button to render, it just sees it as an red error.

                      Any guidance would be really appreciated.
