    Image conflict

    Hi there
I'm trying to resolve something regarding image conflict.

    Running V10.

    Site was perfect

No changes to images, just hiding some sold out products.

I then go to publish site and get errors notign image conflict.

I've looked at previous threads and can't find one relevant to issue I have.

The images are noting that they're in a folder callled Product images followed by \\

    I've looked everywhere and can't find such a place with 2 \\

    Any help gratefully received.

    Many thanks

Unhide the related product and try selecting the image again, Apply, then hide the product.

      feedback

Thanks for the feedback, however the items with image conflicts are not the images that we've hidden on the site!

The frustrating thing is having to refresh the site to find the errors each time!

Is there a quicker way to see the errors 'upfront' then resolve them ALL in one go ?

      Thanks in advance

Export the catalog and then open in excel and search for all instances of the double slashes.

          deeper

thanks, I managed to resolve that, but dont know how.

As excel showed no links with 2 x //

Now Ive hit the 'normal' conflict of name.

BUT having renamed a file with date / time on it, and then tried to upload site, am getting conflict message.

I know the file cant be conflicting, as im only updating it with new image!
          Image does appear twice
          once as section
then as only product page for this section

          not unusual

          Any help on this??

            conflicts!

Ive carried on re-naming as Actinic asks, but now with new name that is definitely unique Ive got the 2 x \\ issue again

            There isn't such a location using \\

Ive looked again at exxported database using excel and confirmed this

            Is there any advice?

            many thanks

Excel may not be the best program to search using. Do File / Export, etc. Name the file <something>.txt and look at it in Notepad. Search for both \\ and //.
