Force unlinking of external price file.

I have been a total idiot and messed up my link to an external price file!

Actinic now bombs out every time I try and start!

Is there a way I can go into the Actinic database and unlink the external file there?

Just an insight into what caused the problem, I linked on field in my external price file to two actinic fields. i.e RRP linked to RRP and Cost. Actinic did not like that one little bit.

I have a copy of the Actinic folder and a snap shot from a day before, is there any way to recover orders from the file?

Okay I think I have sorted the problem.

I renamed the backup database to ActinicCat and now seem to be where I was before I cocked things up!!!

Unlink external file from database settings

Just had a similar problem. To disable the external database and allow Actinic to boot up, I went into the database, scroll down on the left and select setup 2, scroll across until you find bODBCLinkingEnabled change the value from -1 to 0 save then open Actinic.
