    Actinic to Twitter feed

Can Actinic generate a feed of, say new products, to be posted to Twitter. Can't see a way with Actinic but are there any add-ins that can help automate this process?

    Thanks
    David Cunningham

You could export your products as an RSS feed (see mole end product mash for a way of doing this) and then import your RSS feed to twitter, i did a quick search and this came up :

I haven't tried it and would say to use it with care.

However having said that I wouldn't recommend doing this, because i don't think that it will work well on twitter. It's more about connecting with customers than selling direct.

Agree with Jan, you're into spamming territory here, for sure the odd one here and there is fine, it's not a shopping portal though and you should respect that IMO. If you don't, you play a part in commercialising something that most will not want commercialised, but more importantly than that - annoying your followers.

Thanks for that - yes I largely agree with your comments re what twitter is and how it should maybe not be used.
It is for a client who asked the question so I know have more support for my answer
I will be adding the Mole-end Mash to the site anyway in next week or so but having to export then send to twitter will probably take longer than manually posting "current News" to twitter anyway and a manual post should be much more valuable as it can be much better worded etc.
Thanks for the responses - great community service, fast and to the point, as ever.
