Excluding certain catalogue products from coupon codes?

Hi all
I'd like to exclude certain catalogue products from a coupon code promotion. Is this possible to do in Actinic v10 (or another way to get to the same solution!).

I can't think of a way you could do that - product discounts work inclusively, not exclusively. You have to create a Product Group containing the qualifying products, then set up the discount for that group.

Are the products already in the discount group and if so is there any way you could leave them out?

No i don’t have any product groups set up, but don’t mind if i have to go though them and out them in groups if it means that only 1 group gets the discount.

Then define a group of products you provide the discount for, associate the discount with that group and it won't be given to products outside the group.
