Site Root index.html was not found site

    Hello,

I have just started getting the following error when doing a site snapshot

(File ExportFiles.cpp, Line 460) - The file C:\ProgramData\Actinic v10\Australasia\SiteHTML\SiteRoot_index.html was not found System error 2 - The system cannot find the file specified.

Prior to this I had no errors on the output and I am wondering if anyone knows where its coming from?

One thing in particular that I did was to upgrade version 10 to 10.0.4, however I was also working on the design at the time so this may not be the issue.

    Thanks

    Leon

Hi Leon, haven't any words of help here. Just to say that I am experiencing exactly the same problem with this version of the Actinic software. I see that this was posted in July and I just wondered if you had managed to solve this?

Can anybody advise on this problem? The site in question is on Actinic test space, does that make a difference?? I have exported the snapshot so the client can populate the site. Will the Site Root index.html appear when the network settings are converted??

The nearest I can come to an explanation that fits the known info is that this could be related to to this:

†† With the introduction of v10.0.3 of the software, the location of the 'SiteHTML' folder has changed. From this version onwards upon installation the user will be prompted for a location to install this folder, if the default is accepted it will appear under your operating systems user profile folder "All Users\Application Data\Actinic v10\<site folder>\SiteHTML"
        As explained here: http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=45161

In the OPs case his problem started after an upgrade to 10.0.4 from 10.0.? and Actinic is looking for the file under the C:\ProgramData\ which is probably wrong unless that's where he told Actinic to put the data.

Also the siteroot_Index file is only used when Actinic is being told to generate the index page outside of the /acatalog/ directory on your website. It's worth checking you have those settings correctly set.

If the problem is that actinic is looking in the wrong folder then you might need actinic support to fix it for you.
