    Cannot open Actinic / Cannot find database

    Dear Community

    My client has reported the following problem.

    > Sorry to bother you again but I have another problem now - I have tried
    > to open the Actinic 10 site this morning after not
    > having looked at it for a week or more and find I cannot open it at all
    > - it just comes up with a message saying cannot find the database?

    The only suggestion following a trawl of the web is

    >> 'This usually happens on Windows NT and Windows 2000. This is caused
    >> by installing the software under the admin account. You will have to
    >> uninstall Actinic then re-install while logged in under the user
    >> account which will be using Actinic.'

    The client has replied:
    > the computer only has
    > one user - we do not have a log in system -

    I think they are running Vista.

    Is there an alternative to uninstalling / reinstalling and has anybody else reported a similar problem?

    Manually look or search for it on the system? Got to be quicker to reinstall and import a snapshot though, that's just a few minuites.
