    Images not displaying

I thought it was how I was setting up my Sections / Sub Sections / Products, but having tried it again I'm still having issues.

I get the page that shows the drop down list of options, but no image is coming up. I've checked the settings and the images are there, but nothing. Any ideas on what I'm missing?

Please post a URL so we can see what's going on.

Sorry, there is no URL at the moment, still in the design stage. It's very odd. I've checked the settings in the demo site that comes with it and I can't see any difference, yet that one works fine.

It would be so much easier if it was up on test.

Can you post some screen shots of the page in the browser and the relevant settings?

Use one of the demo site images. If you see that, there's something wrong with your images. If you don't see anything, the problem is with your layouts.

However, with no live site to see, it's not going to be easy to help.

I've just tried using one of the images that come with Actinica dn no go. I've added two screen shots. Not sure how clear they are.

Put your images in a folder in your *local* Site 1 folder. That way they will be uploaded when you upload the site.

Try using a different Product Layout (Standard Layout Using CSS perhaps). Via Product Details / Layout.

And that path to your Thumbnail image is crazy!

Perhaps I'm doing it wrong then. I'm using the designer version to create the site and test it out. Do I need to adding the images via the PC that has the Catalog sofwtare installed?

You should have all your images in either the Site1 folder or a subfolder within it on your Developer machine.

When you've finished you can create a snapshot and import that into the final target machine.

I thought that's what I'd done. The "site 1" folder is my site folder, currently called "my beautiful beads". Inside that is a folder called "images" and all the images are in there, either loose or in sub folders.

This does appear to correct as I did a snap shot the other week to try it out on my virtual desktop. Before I tidied everything up I was getting some errors about the location of the images used. I moved them to the current location and the errors stopped.

Surely as long as the path is correct then the images should appear? In fact when I first started messing around with the software I was pointing Actinic at images else where on the PC. As mentioned the only issue I had then was that when I did a snapshot it warned that I'd have to sort the images out if planning on running the site on another PC.
