Removing a Product from Catalogue

Am I being incredibly silly here or is there no simple way to just remove a product from the software?

Any help would be hugely appreciated right now, I've got a bunch of stock that needs to be removed :s

Select it, click delete. Or right click and select delete.

Then you have housekeeping > purge to permanently get rid of it.
