Mailing Lists

Hi,

I want to start a mailing list (something I should have started a long time ago!) and before I start I wanted to know if anyone had any recomendations for spefic software or just any general tips and tricks.
I'm talking maily about the design part but any help and advice is very welcome!

There are many packages around. Groupmail and Mailchimp are very popular.
