    Snapshot - fail

Few months ago I had to have the hard drive on my PC reformatted, and XP was installed at my request instead of Vista that came with it when new.

Anyway ever since I have not been able to send a snapshot to an external storage device. In my case a USB stick.

I can do snapshots in the normal way, but like to do a copy away from the PC, but it just won't have it...any ideas?

Actinic Business - 10.0.4 is the version and have upgraded each time from V6 if that is of any relevance.

We do have cover, but don't like to bother them

    Obliged.

but it just won't have it
    That's a pitifully vague statement.

It would be much better if you clearly describe what you're doing and what goes wrong. Accurately recorded error messages would allow you to google for them.

I browse to device, my preferred choice being a USB memory stick, type a file name, Click "save as" and nothing happens.

The work-a-round suggested here by Leehttp://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=50330 works for me. Save to desktop then copy to stick. So it is not overly important.

      There is no error message.

I downloaded the V11 Beta, and the can save a snapshot directly to the memory stick.

Hmmm ... I've no problems Snapshotting to an USB stick. But I'm using 10.0.4 on Windows 7 Pro, not XP.

We have not had a problem doing it daily since V6 - that's many 100's of times, the only thing that happened as I indicated was the HD was reformatted and a different OS installed, since the day the PC was booted up again, for what ever reason no Snapshot to stick from V10......works as designed in the V11, so that in effect will fix it.

              Bought another lap-top.

              Was bizarre "issue"
