    Adjust dimensions of cart/checkout?

After a great deal blundering around in the dark I managed to get a three column layout happening again, and I also widened the layout somewhat.

My sizing changes were made in 'styles for silver theme'. I can't figure out how to stretch the cart and checkout to fill the wider space, though. Where should I be looking?

(You'll also notice that the border on the main area has gone askew; I struggled with that for a while and got so cross I have decided to come back to it later).

    Try:

Settings | Site Options | General | Width For Main Area

      Dave,

Thanks for the pointer but I foolishly forgot to mention in my post that, due to new-user bodgery early on, I can no longer rely on Site Options etc.

Haha OK. That makes it a bit more difficult for anyone to help you. I notice however that your checkout has stretched since I last looked so you appear to be on the right track.

Well believe it or not the checkout widened using the very thing you mentioned! Why didn't I try this before? Because when I tried to use this setting to adjust the main area width (i.e. for sections and products) it didn't work - so I put it back where I found it and moved on.

Apparently I broke the connection between that number and the main pages but not the cart and checkout, so I've set it to the same value I used in the css.

Now to go back to figuring those pesky border lines!
