Best Sellers

The default amount of best sellers is 6, ive tried adding extra best sellers from within the database. It shows them for a moment then eventually reverts back to the default of 6 items.

Can anyone tell me how to change the default?

It's a bug. If you navigate to the number box using the tab key rather than just clicking in it, you should be able to make the change.
