Wrong choice attribute displaying in cart. Why?

I have noticed a problem when testing my website.

When I try to add an item to the cart in size 10, this then appears in the cart as size 11.

I don't quite understand why this is happening?

To explain what I mean please go to

then try to add size 10 to the cart and view the cart.

size 11 will be displaying, im not sure why this is hapenning???!

looks like you have the wrong product associated with the choice.

Have a look at the product :componant : permutations
and check that the size 10 is linked to the correct hidden product..

without sounding obvious, have you checked that the choices are entered correctly in Actinic?
If the "choice name" and "html for name" are different, it could give this result

First thing to check anyway

Compact the database, refresh the site.

1.) I have checked to make sure the choices are entered correctly in Actinic. Ie ‘Choice Name’ & ‘HTML for name’ both correspond to the same.

2.) I have tried compacting the database & refreshing the site.

Anyone have any other ideas as to what might be causing this?

Have you checked the correct hidden product is associated with the choice in the 'Permutation' tab as suggested in Post#2

i'm not quite sure how to check this... where is the permutation tab?

Select the component, you will see it then.

do you mean select the component in the content tree? as only have the size attribute & then the choices. i have no components to select!!

If you have no component, then you have no permutations. So you just have simple attributes and choices. Suggest deleting them on one product, then set them up again, upload and see if that fixes it.

Pick the keyboard up, launch it at high speed towards both the hard drive and the screen, if neither break on first contact, repeat until one does. Once you've done that, give it a good kicking and go for a walk to the pub.

I have no idea, something sounds very wrong, i think it might need to go off to support, perhaps an underlying database issue.
