Update sub section to section

How to move sub section to section without cut and paste as that would then need lots of moving sections around

Manually moving while holding down SHIFT is only way i know.

You can hold the shift key down and then drag the section to another part of the tree.
I'm not sure exactly what you want to do that means it's difficult to C&P.

It's a few sub section in a section that if I use the cut and Paste method they all go to the top of the tree, Then I have to rearrange the tree so just seing if there was an alternative method

There is - using SHIFT to put it where you want it.

Backup lots though otherwise it may end up in Narnia or somewhere never to be seen again.

Mine always end up in Middle Earth.

Chris - if you select what you want to move, let go of the mouse button, press and hold shift then click and hold the mouse button, you should be able to move the sections wherever you want.

Tip: The moved sections will drop below the section or subsection you move them to.
