I'm a little bit scared on Actinic when it comes to emails... strange things have happened before where it's started re-sending all previous emails! So this time I want to ask before I try something...
We tick off despatched orders manually on Actinic, so we can send customers a specific email to say whether their order has been despatched via carrier or Royal Mail. I always do this after the orders have actually been sent (not wanting to tempt fate if we don't make the connection with the driver!), but I don't want to spend my Friday evening ticking off orders...
So my question is, if I open an order by double clicking on it, go to the 'mail' tab, select 'new' and the required email template, and then click 'done' rather than 'send now', will I be able to queue the emails to send later at the click of a button (Operations | send emails I'm guessing)?
If this would work, can I clear the email queue before I start? There may be other unsent emails on the system already, which I would not want to suddenly send now.
