    Remove Delivery Address from checkout

    Hi all,
I’m having a bit of a problem trying to remove the delivery address from the checkout. My client only wants orders to be shipped to card addresses. When I remove the delivery options from design | web cont | delivery, then try to upload, actinic gets upset with me saying that country is required and the upload halts. If I place a tick in country, the site uploads ok, but in the checkout I get Delivery Address next to Invoice address, with blank fields and United Kingdom in the country box.
United Kingdom is the only location being used.

Is there a way to completely remove the delivery address option from the checkout?

I have already explained the drawbacks of not having separate delivery and invoice addresses to the client and they are adamant this is what they want.

Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere in the forums, but I have looked and cannot find a solution for v10.

Have you tried a complete site refresh or purge and refresh rather than a site update?

You could hide the checkbox to show the 'delivery to a different address' fields instead perhaps.

        Thanks for the replies.
If I refresh the site, I get the same error.

"The hidden fields causing the problem are:

        Delivery Country

Shipping requires a way of entering both Invoice and Delivery information for the following:
        United Kingdom"

If I completely remove the site from the server, then try to publish, I get the same error.

To clarify, deliver to separate address checkbox is hidden, but cartpage0 still has a 2nd column in the address section for delivery address. This column only has country and the rest of the fields are empty and not editable. The user cannot select another country, as United Kingdom is the only location.

I cannot see a way to simply remove the 2nd column within the layout code.

Can you think of anything else I could try?

Just a thought but what are your tax settings?

Clearly 'Tax by Delivery Address' is going to want to know a delivery country.

VAT is currently set to simple.
