Externaly link to an image in a folder in Site1

Hi, I wish to send out a HTML news letter using Group Mail, I have the images for the newsletter in a folder called emailimages placed in my Site1 folder.

Please could someone help with the Url to place in the email to link to the required image in the emailimages folder in Site1.

    Many Thanks in advance

People receiving the email will not have access to your hard drive when they get the email, so linking to them there is pointless. I'd suggest you add them into design > additional files, so actinic loads them into your acatalog folder online and you link to them there.

It's pointless linking to anything on your PC as only you have access to that, only you would see the images. The images need to be a in a global position where everyone can access them ie online.

You can have them in a folder within your site folder, that is fine, you will still need to tell actinic to upload them for you as detailed though, otherwise they will never get online. Actinic uploads what it is told or is using, your folder will be neither if you do nothing.

Thanks, sorry for being so dumb, would I have to upload the images individually in additional files or just upload the folder?

            Thanks
