    Excel file Import

This is really more of an Excel question that Actinic.

We have received an Excel spread from a manufacturer for 4000 products with all info included. We can succesfully import into Actinic, with exception to the images.

The images are entered as just numbers, ie, 12345 but we need to change this to include the file path, and .jpg

    ie example/images/folder/12345.jpg

We need to automate this down the entire column, is this possible or should I just start editing them manually?

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Regards

This is a simple Excel problem which Excels built-in Help for Combine text and numbers would show you at least two ways to do this.

E.g. if your image name is in column A, then a formula in the first row of a new column like ="images/"&A1&".jpg" will do the job. Just replicate that formula down the new column.

Many thanks Norman, works a treat.

Excel is one piece of software I can't seem to get to grips with.
