    How Can I add a Comment to an Invoice?

    I am sure this is a simple question, that as a user, I simply have not done before, but....

    How can I add a note, comment or add a manual line to a customer order or invoice?

    Is it possible or simply not possible?

    I must admit I print to PDF and add it in my PDF tool

    Looking around I couldnt find anything that allowed to make visible comments to the order.

    What might work is using one of the custom fields, if you're not using them to ask questions from customer. Just set one to not show at checkout and using it to add a message. Not sure how well you can tweak where it appears though, so I didnt try and went with a cheap "print to pdf" tool

      The only method I know is to add an "adjustment" of zero value on the invoice, in the Line Items section, after entering the order

      But this means there had to have been a product line in the 1st place ad also it maks a mess/unsighly appearance on the invoice of the tax code

      But it can work - sort of

      Any other ideas anyone?

        Add adjustment is what I normally use.

        If you select normal tax then there shouldn't be any change to the tax display.
