IE8 - add to cart function not working (apparently!)

We've had a few customers call up telling us they can't add items to the cart, the one thing they all have in common is Internet Explorer 8!

So I downloaded it, loaded the site, and added numerous items to the cart successfully..!

So.. does anyone have a clue as to why they can't but I can?!

Not sure which site you're talking to or what symptoms the customers are seeing, but you do have a problem with mixing www. and non www. urls.

Make sure your network settings all use www. For some reason your cgi bin scripts aren't using www. so items added don't appear in the cart summary.

Also make sure you always use www. on all links and that the search engines
know your preference. If you can, use a redirect to send all visitors to www.
