Recordset is read only - unable to publish to web

I thought I'd gone into the stock page of site options to change my pages to show items in stock rather than a number that were in stock.
When I tried to update via publish to web it sticks on "checking discount setup file"
I also get a small box message when trying to close "Recordset is read only"

I didn't set up the pages, just do the basic day to day stuff (ie not very technical) so any help would be greatly appreciated.
