Hi - really hoping for some advice for a very novice user of both, so please figure me if my knowledge isnt great - i'm learning as i go!
The company i work for is a smallish manufacturer and we supply hand made goods to both shops and on our own website. we recently bought sage 50 accounts to help us with better finance control and (eventually) stock control.
we were given some off-site online help with transferrring customer accounts and product details from actinic to sage. my problem is this - when i use the actinic link to sage some invoices transfer ok -using the recommended sage customer account codes set up which are the same as in actinic ie XXXXX001 - some of the invoices/accounts transfer under the ordering persons surname ie JONES001 - when i change this tothe account XXXXX001 it adds VAT to the invoices again!
I cant see what on earth i'm doing wrong? am sure it will be something simple?
