Actinic crashing

Hello
We are running v 10.0.4 on windows 7, payments via Credit Call.
When we hit the commit or third man update buttons the system crashes. This also happens when we move from one site to our second site.
Previously we were on vista and the same problem occurred at the same rate. We have done several re installs but no improvement, our internet is good at 13 meg.
Any ideas as it is driving us mad.
