Why does Actinic generate pages with underscores?

As I understand it underscores are treated as invisible by Google and that hyphens don't. Plus hyphens are easier to read when looking at URLs.

So why does Actinic still produce page URLs with underscores? drives me mad having to change every single page name

Considering how long the product has been going has nobody suggested this on the wishlist?

Or have I missed something in the settings somewhere that enables hyphens to be used?
