Merging multiple actinic websites into one

I have multiple actinic websites which I would like to merge into one. Is there a best way to do it? I have searched this forum but haven't found any detailed information which would address issues such as product duplicates or missing sections in the catalogs database, etc.

I am a programmer and have a rough idea of how to write a Java program to do this task, but don't want to reinvent the wheel if there is already good and tested solution out there.

Export a hierarchical file from the sites you want to migrate and import this file into the *master* site.
The Actinic/SellerDeck hierarchical file import/export will bring almost everything across. You can selectively remove the items you don't want (e.g. brochure pages) from the file easily (e.g. in excel) and Actinic/SellerDeck import feature will handle duplicates and report on all conflicts.
