There is no PSP upgrade button in v10. Please can anyone help me with this? Can I delete the OPN and LCK files?

I've never been clear on why these stale lock and checkout problems occur on some servers but it has appeared in the past and I'm not aware of anyone who has recovered from them.

To quote Chris Dicken from way back

A lock file is created whenever the cart contents are updated or an order placed. Usually they are deleted straight away as soon as the action is completed. If there is any problem with deleting them straight away they are marked as 'stale' and deleted later on.
So it sounds as if something is interfering with this process. The question is what is it?

All I can think of is:

    - Try opening the permissions up as wide as possible just in case.
    - Check the server times are correct as there is a 'timeout' mentioned
    - Check any redirects to make sure none of them are interfering
    - Ask the host if there are any server 'security' scripts blocking any of the scripts / actions.

My best guess would be that the last item is the most likely. I could quite see a server security script preventing the scripts from deleting a file and leaving it hanging.

An oddity is that the 'View website' button goes to www.domain.co.uk/acatalog/shopname.html instead of www.domain.co.uk even when test server network settings are in use. This link does not appear in business settings or network settings. Where can it have been defined? Could it be in the database?

Maybe go to the very top of the content tree then check 'General' > 'Use as Website Home Page' is ticked

It's Design | Design Options | Home Page Link and tick brochure,

As for the PSP not connecting it is a v10 thing. You have to copy ActinicSafer.pm from a later version into the site folder.

There is also a database tweak. https://community.sellerdeck.com/for...screen?t=50454
