Header alignment problem

Hi
I have added a logo and a shop link to www.gprsmodems.co.uk. It works fine until an item is added to the cart. On saving the cart content several lines are added between the shop logo and the cart content/value text on the right. I had thought about increasing the width of the pages or possibly decreasing the font size of the cart content/value etc text.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

i.e. change that second | to <br />
